Good afternoon, everybody!
Excuse my absence for the past several days; I was spending some much needed time out of town with the boyfriend since we had a long weekend due to MLK Day. :) As always, I didn't take anything to do my nails with - it always seems like such a hassle to take a separate bag for my nail paraphernalia when I'm just going to be there for a few days. >.< I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I'm excited to finally be able to post again today. :D
Enough with the rambling. Here's the mani I'm sporting today!
Can I please just say that I am in looove?! :L
I used Zoya Jem as a base and stamped over it with OPI Silver Sparkler, (I THINK... it appears my mom took the label off when she previously owned it? :tdown) using Konad stamping plate m63. Then I added a rhinestone to each middle finger, which kind of just looks like a bubble. OH WELL.
This stamp reminds me of a really well done water marble. Like, one I'd never be able to achieve, lolol. :P I tried to photograph Jem by itself, but it just wasn't happening... I still don't have the skillz to capture the true essence of berries. :||
What do y'all think? Does it look like a water marble to you? Hope everyone has a great rest of the day! :D
This is so cool, it really does look like a crazy-good water marble!! :D Wonderful look and I hope that you had a fantastic weekend! ^-^
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ashesela! I hope you had a great weekend, as well! :D
DeleteLove it! Great color combo. And that stamp is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks, girl! I really liked the colors, too, surprisingly. I'm more of a bright in-your-face colors kind of gal. ;)
Deletethis stamp has fooled me many times! I have it,but haven't used it yet. I do water marbling so I'm not apposed to getting a little messy for the cause. But this is a great and fast way to get the marbled look! I love it and that base color is soo gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteYou are very skilled in the water marbling department, indeed! I've only done one water marble (because the challenge I was doing at the time forced me to :P) and it was a lot of fun and really neat, but took me fooorever. This took 10 minutes to stamp, so I bet I'm more inclined to choose this instead most of the time, lolol.
DeleteI could kind of see how it looks like a badass water marble. i LOVE that zoya!! so prettyyyy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, bestfran!
Deletethis looks so cool! i love the colors and the stamp! the little gem is cute too
ReplyDeleteThanks, love! I'm glad you like the gem. :P

ReplyDeleteThank youuu! I'm glad you like it. ^_^
DeleteThis is so pretty!! It does look like water marble!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I wish I could come up with a way to make the stamp multicolored and for it to look decent. :P
DeleteI'm in love too! I love the stamping and your color combination. I just bought my first Konda set last night plus a few extra plates including this one...So excited to try it out, I love this design.
ReplyDeleteHeheh, thanks! :) Congrats on your plates! I can't wait to see what you come up with. :D
