Hello, pretties!
So, I'm terribly sorry for, yet again, another absence. >.< After my finals were over, I got scheduled ten consecutive shifts at the restaurant I work at within six days, so it goes without saying I was pretty freaking exhausted. Then I headed to Knoxville for a few days for my boyfriend's grad school graduation and to help him move into his (and soon to be our) new apartment! So that was exciting. ^_^
What's ALSO exciting is that in this post I will show you three of six new polishes that I was sent to review last week! I never thought I'd ever be asked to review polishes for anyone, so when Kate from Miss Professional Nail asked me if she could send me polishes to review I was obviously elated.
The three polishes I have for you today are members of a new limited summer collection called California Gleamin' which is a part of Miss Professional Nail's signature line, Sation. Sation is re-branded and modernized with new bottle shapes and new awesomely wide brushes! Application was a dream with these new brushes.
First up is Pink Parfait!
Pink Parfait is a bright, neon pink creme. It photographed a BIT more red than it is in real life, but it's still pretty close to being accurate. It's such a wonderful shade. I love me some bright pinks. :D This is three coats.
Next up is You Butter Tell Me.
This polish is BRIGHT. :e I absolutely love it. You Butter Tell Me is clearly a super bright, neon yellow creme. This polish was pretty sheer so I applied three coats over one thin coat of China Glaze White On White. Isn't is gorgeous?! Very eye-catching.
And last but not least, Oh My Oceania.
This was by far my favorite of the three. Oh My Oceania is a bright turquoise with royal blue shimmer. I've been very drawn to blues lately so this really made me happy. It looks wonderful outside in the sunlight. :) This one was the most opaque of the three; it's just two coats.
L-R: Pink Parfait, You Butter Tell Me, Oh My Oceania |
So, this is just a glimpse into the awesomeness of California Gleamin'. I've seen two others from this collection and they're equally fantastic. These should currently be available on Miss Professional Nail's website for just $5.00 and also available in select local beauty stores while supplies last. These polishes are also formaldehyde, DBP, and toluene-free.
Please stay tuned for three more polishes that are a part of Sation's permanent line!
These products were sent to me by Miss Professional Nail. The reviews are based solely on my experience with the products and were not influenced by anyone.
Gorgeous colours and I can't wrap my head around how you get your nails (& polish) to look so perfect doll:)
