31 Day Challenge! Day 19 - Galaxy Nails

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I know it's been forever since I posted last. :( I've missed my blog (and all of your blogs) so much, but alas I've been working a ton since school ended and haven't had a lot of time to dedicate to blogging. Meh.

So, day 19 (or in my case it's like day 45. >.<) is galaxy nails and here is what I have for you:

I had a lot of fun with these, and although I'm not too fond of how my ring finger turned out, I was still pleased with the whole look nontheless. :)

I hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas! I shall be posting my new polishes very soon. :D

  2. @Taylor - THANKS, FRIEND.

@Jacky - Heheh, I like the ring finger, I just don't think it looks as galaxy-ish as the others, lol. OH WELL. Thanks so much for the compliment. :D

  4. These are very cool!

Just wondering what your thoughts are on Essie's "Trophy Wife." If you are not familiar with it, the online color looks completely different. I received it as a Christmas gift and can't decide if I like it or if it's too fourth grade. As someone who probably has a much better grasp on the diffetence between tacky and playful nail color, I thought I'd ask your opinion.

  5. @Kaylea - Thanks, girl!

I looked up some swatches of 'Trophy Wife' because I couldn't think of the color off the top of my head, and you're right. I saw that it took on several different shades among the pictures I looked at. :P With that said, I like it! I think it falls more towards playful than tacky, for sure.

I don't know if you saw this one or not, but this blogger is pretty trusted for her color accuracy: http://thenailphile.blogspot.com/2011/06/essie-trophy-wife.html.

Let me know how you like it!

  6. So after two coats and a top coat, mine seemed to be a bit deeper/richer in color the the girl's at The Nailphile, but I still liked it nonetheless. I think anything mermaidesque would have been more fitting of a name though. I will try to send you a picture of how they turned out. :) I love the Bella Oggi polish by the way. That is a great color!

  8. @Nail Reflections - Sorry, I just saw your comment! Thank you so much! :D

@Kaylea - Truth about 'Trophy Wife' needing a different name, heheh. I can't wait to see how it turned out!

@I Bleed Polish - REALLY?! That just made my whole night, heheh. Thank you SO much!

  9. Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I'm still new to the whole thing. Do you have any points for beginner blog writers? I'd really appreciate it.
