Finals Week Blues: Day 2 - Zoya Wednesday

Good evening, all!

Just a quick post tonight in between doing school work/studying. I'm so ready for the next week to be over with. :||

For day two of 'Finals Week Blues' I chose Zoya Wednesday!

*Artificial light, with flash

Zoya describes Wednesday as a "faded dirty medium turquoise with green undertone and an opaque cream finish". This soft shade is a bit out of my "comfort zone" since I normally like bold, in-your-face colors but I love it nonetheless. ^_^ However, I got bored with just the solid color (naturally), and added some silver bullions that I got from Sally's. I thought about doing all of my nails this way buuut it took me like 15 minutes just to do that ONE nail, being my first time, so I decided an accent nail would suffice. :P

If you weren't already aware, this fantastic idea came from Sammy at The Nailasaurus. She did it for day 25 of her 31 Day challenge, Inspired by Fashion. I've always thought it was a really awesome look and have been meaning to try it for ages. I really like how it turned out. :)

Well, what do you guys think?!
Thanks for reading!

  1. very nice! i prefer the bullions on just the one nail. I feel like all of them would be too much :x

    1. Yeeeah, I'm glad I did just one nail in the end, although I thought hers looked good with all of them. It'd take me twice as long to do my right hand, though. :\

  2. wow i love this! the studs look amazing, its a perfect color

  3. Love this, looks awesome hun:)

  4. This is incredibly beautiful!!! I love it! :D

  5. Love this, and the studs look so great with the turquoise!!

  6. Awesome color, it's very flattering. I'm surprised Wednesday isn't a dark gothic color since it reminds me of the Addams Family. (I may have just aged myself here haha) And that stud job is boss! Perfect alignment. Spectacular!!
